Dr Rohan Lutchman

Dr Rohan Lutchman is a cardiologist at Gateway Private Hospital and the current Chair of the KwaZulu-Natal branch of SAHeart. He has a special interest in heart failure, focusing on both medical management and advanced device therapies. His clinical expertise extends to coronary intervention and structural heart disease, including transcatheter procedures such as TAVI and left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO).
 
Dr Lutchman has been involved in research on diabetes and acute coronary syndromes, as well as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. He previously served as the Head of Clinical Unit at Greys Hospital, where he was actively engaged in training and service development.
