About Us
The Heart Failure Society of South Africa (HeFSSA) is an official special interest group affiliated to its parent body, the South African Heart Association (SAHA). It is the first heart failure society on the African continent.
The society was formed in 2005 at the 6th Annual Congress of SAHA.
HeFSSA's mission is to promote research and collaboration on issues relating to heart failure in South Africa and around the world.
An executive committee runs the affairs of HeFSSA and meets periodically to discuss projects and future goals.
